****October 2014 mummies****

Just a tip, I ordered a mamas and papas catalog on their website and this has come today with a free 5 pound gift card.

Hello Ladies, just looking for some opinions... I have a wedding in 3 weeks time and I'm having trouble finding and outfit, I tried a few maxi dresses and I felt and looked like a whale!! DH said something more fitted around bump might look better so I found this dress, I do like it and it's comfy but I don't know if it's too short or if it's appropriate for someone so pregnant to wear such a fitted dress? Please be totally honest. I thought I hadn't put on much weight since iv been pregnant but got weighed at the MW yday and was horrified to find out iv put on almost 2 stone!! I wouldn't want people talking about me wondering why I'm wearing such a fitted dress when iv put on so much weight and I wouldn't have worn something as fitted before I got pregnant. Dilemma!!! Lol! xxx

Coach I think you look great in that dress, but would it still fit in 3 weeks time. For me I would wear something more loose fitting especially with my ass, have you looked at maternity dresses asos has some lovely ones. For me I would wear something like this, especially if I'm sitting down eating I wouldn't feel so bloated in it. http://www.asos.com/ASOS-Maternity/...=14551&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=36&sort=-1&clr=Navy

Iv ordered the next size up incase I balloon in the next few weeks but it hasn't arrived yet, it's very stretchy so has plenty of give. It's been maternity dresses that I've been trying :( that one I'm wearing in the pic is maternity also. I think because I'm very short the loose ones just make me look huge and stumpy! Iv tried these two and looked and felt awful :(

Also because of my height those midi knee length ones are far too long and make me look even stumpier! The one I have on is like a mini length on the model but on me not so much lol. Thanks so much for taking the time to have a look for me :) I do like the second one but I think the lengths are awkward xox

The blue one looks really nice its a shame you didn't feel right in it. It was bad enough for me last year trying to find a dress that looked OK, I'm short too 5"4 and was a size 14, I looked huge in everything. I'm glad I don't have to find a dress to wear now.
Why don't you order a couple more even if you wouldn't normally choose it, you could be surprised :-)

I still have the blue dress here il go and take a pic in it, it really is hideous! Would be gorg on someone with a few more inches! I'm about 5'3. Yea I think il keep ordering to keep my options open, last thing I want is to end up with nothing ahhh! xox

I think I look way bigger than I am and my knees are nowhere to be seen! Lol!

Aw that is cute but iv been trying to avoid black, I know it's slimming but I have a fear of looking like I'm at a funeral not a wedding. god I sound so fussy! Lol x

I see what you mean, you can always brighten a black dress up. That second dress I found I think will look nice on you and because its fitted at the top won't matter if its longer in length.

Yea that's true I suppose I could jazz black up with coloured shoes and bag! Il keep my options open and order a few more! My poor bank lol! Thankssss :)

Yeah you could use red, or royal blue, or you could get a little cardigan and a beaded neckless to brighten the black up. That debenhams one does look a bargain though :-)

Yes royal blue sounds nice! It's a total bargain, I might just have to purchase! Lol :)

Hey hun, I think you look great but it is really important you feel comfortable and fab in the outfit you choose. I have a wedding at the end of July and have no idea what I am going to wear! There's some nice maternity dresses on the New Look website and there are a lot in the sale which makes them a complete bargain :)

I haven't been around much lately (although I've still been checking in and having a nosey) as Max currently has chicken pox. The poor little thing is covered so it's been lots of Disney films and mummy cuddles this week. H's been so good even though in this weather the spots must be driving him crazy! Where I run my own business it's great I can take the time off but work has been stacking up so I've left Max and daddy watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates and come into the office, so I guess I should really stop looking at dresses and get on ..... :) xxx

Coach I really like that dress and think you look fab in it xxx.

Aww TaffyRose I hope Max gets better soon bless him, ESP in this weather :( xx.

I've ballooned! People keep asking me if I'm sure there's only one baby in there haha! I'm mahoosive lol! I'm just really embracing my bump now as I think this may be my last pregnancy.
I'm looking forward to next Friday as I break up for 6 weeks annual leave yay xx we've booked a little break in a cottage with a pool for the first week off near the beach so Joe is well excited :)

Hope everyone is keeping well, time seems to be whizzing by at the min so my next mission is to get the travel system! Xx
