****October 2014 mummies****

Happy v day to those I've missed. And I can't believe some of us have already moved over to tri 3. That'll be me next week too eek!

Claire, I hope you're all better now.

I have exciting news I wanted to share: I passed all my exams and competitions (I ended up ranked 66th nationally) so i am officially A QUALIFIED TEACHER! We've been celebrating these last couple of days. Last day at school today and we're off on holiday on Monday after my gynae appointment. Baby's been moving around quite a bit and I'm patting her proudly saying what a good girl she was during my exams. So it's also official, I WILL get mat leave which is such a relief.

I'm joining the sore back and sore crotch club too :(

Kat that's about what I've put on. I'll be weighed on Monday. My gynae said that was ok though so I'll believe him - he's the specialist haha

Hi girlies, I can't believe we have some of you in tri 3 already, its getting so real. Congratulations pip on becoming a qualified teacher :-)
If I've missed any V days congratulation also :-)

Aww Kat I wouldnt worry about the weight you put on , I'm sure you will loose loads when you give birth.
I've just had my 25 week appointment after being too sick on Wednesday to go, everything was spot on with the measurements and got my mat b1 form, I just wish this cold will hurry up and do one :-(

Pips CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What a great achivement! well deserved celebrations and holidays!

Thansk girls for your kind woprds but my midwife hasnt been to happy with my weight gain and i was reminded about healthy eating and excercise... so i think swimming is a must now, as walking is not doing anything good for now ;) esspecially that my back started hurting in last couple of days.

Claire hop this cold will disappar soon , whats happend to 7 days rule...?!?!?!

Yay congrats on qualifying Pips xx

Hope you feel better soon Claire and your cold naffs off xx.

Shooting star that sounds scary, hope all is ok now xx.

Aww Kat, it's hard to not put lots of weight on, this pregnancy I'm def eating more and exercising less, don't beat yourself up too much Hun xx

Thank goodness it's Friday, I'm in need of these 2 days off :) my bump feels huge, I'm getting Brixton hicks which hit me when I'm about to take a step and stop me from moving!!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend and manages a little relax :) xx

Hi everyone,
happy v-day to anyone I missed.
had a busy few days and not a lot of chance to get online.
can't believe its my last day in tri2. Might have a little peek into tri3 and see whats happening there already. Even it's a scary thought, as next stop is bubba in our arms.
had my gtt on Thursday and what a nightmare it's been. First my bus was running late, then I got on the wrong one and in total instead of 20 minutes travel I spend 40. Arrived at 9.45, appointment was 9.30 but thank god they didn't mind. However, got called in at 10 just to wait half hour till someone finally managed to draw blood, as I was being very difficult again :-(
Got luke warm lucozade to drink and was send back off to wait for 2 hours. But that time I was starving... after all that had my trial study mw to see too. Only put on 3 kilos so far, which was brilliant news. Everything else looked well too. Finally left hospital at 2pm.

Hope you all are keeping well too and don't suffer too much in this heat...

Evening ladies, hope u are all well. I can't believe it's nearly tri3 time!! And some have already flown the tri2 nest. I've been suffering with swallow feet and ankles the last few days, they get really uncomfortable by the end of the day, luckily I have an office job so not on my feet all day.

My friend at work had her baby on Friday, 5 days early. She had a little girl, she's gorgeous and love the name they gave her, Elisabet.it is her 2nd and was only 7hrs from waters breaking!

We started decorating the nursery today, so exciting, but my hubby hates decorating, bless. We'll get there in the end. Can't wait to see it finished with all the furniture built and in its place.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. X

Woke up with a really really bad back ache. Was just on all fours trying to relieve the pressure. Now have a hot water bottle! Grrrrr

Aww girls sounds like we all have some discomfort at the min x.

I woke up this morning with itchy eyes, now a cold has hit me full force, my nose is pouring and I feel really irritable with it :(
Feel like rubbish and needed to have a good moan about it! Xx

Awww beci, sounds awful. Hope you feel better soon.
shootingstar, I went from bed to sofa and won't move unless I have to as my back keeps cramping up.
apparently I have been referred to physio as I have bern diagnosed with sciatica, but the waiting time can be up to 12 weeks hahaha joey is due in 13, might not need the physio then anymore....

thanks god we have something to look forward after months of pains and discomfort. Sometimes it feels like giving birth will be almost like Lotto win with a big prize ;)

BTW i forgot to share with you about my 4d experience :) When i went to Poland to see my family, i treated my mum to her birthday suprise a 4d scan so she can see her grandson. We were just over 24 weeks so he still looked a bit fragile but already like a baby! He wasnt cooperating thou so we didnt get full face but hopefully he will be nicer for mummy and daddy in 3 weeks on 27th when me and my OH going to see him again at just over 28 weeks.

Awwww KatB that's soooo cute!! My friend had a 3D scan last week and the detail is amazing!! They could see baby smiling, id say your thrilled :)

Vampy when my GP referred me for physio 12 days ago she told me the waiting list is so long I might not get one before baby arrives, I had a call last week asking me did I want to come in in an hour for a cancellation (I couldn't make it) and got a letter on sat telling me my appointment is tomorrow!! So u never know they could rush it along because you are pregnant? Hopefully they do! I don't expect them to really be able to do much for me but if they give me any other tips that haven't been suggested here already il let you all know :) xox

Hope all you ladies are doing well! Havent been on here much as my nan has been in hospital and im feeling worn out as our household as had a virus- will have to have a catch up!

On a brighter note we managed to pay all our pram off and will hopefully be receiving it in 14 days! & i ordered my pre packed hospital bag and received it this morning! Only got to add little bits like clothes for me and baby and think ill still have some room left in the bag! Cant complain for £23 and quick delivery! One less stress to worry about :D

Where did u get that hospital bag from, looks really good

sorry hun only just seen this! Here is the link for the page i bought it from :) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bump...ternity-Hospital-Bags/152876001543597?fref=ts

Welcome Natasha!! do you know what you are having or are you staying team Yellow? x

Evening ladies, not long been home from our first antenatal class! It's the 1st of a 3 week course. Was all about stages of labour, how to recognise ur in labour, how to cope in early stages etc. Was really informative. Just wish they put you with people that are similar due dates, most of the women were 30 wks plus so u couldn't really make friends. One lady I spoke to was really nice but she was 32 wks.

Welcome to the group natasha.

We had our first antenatal last week, seems to have been the same topics :) next week is pain relief! U can still make friends with people further on than you :)

I couldn't believe my eyes on Facebook recently, it popped up on my newsfeed, this girl is from my town...

Yeah that's next week's topic for us too and complications.

I think it's common in pregnancy to get funny cravings like that. My mother in law was addicted to the smell of jayes fluid and said she even felt like drinking it, although she didn't of course as knew it was dangerous. Pregnancy is weird sometimes hey!

Welcome Natasha!

Oh so jeloues you already started your classes girls, mine not on until 29th...

I have day off today and i had such a nice plan to do a lot today but it looks like i am still in my pj's stuggling to get up and yawning every minute... really tired toiday must be exam stress yesterday, but hopefully i passed with flying colours...

really tired....
