****October 2014 mummies****

shooting star stupid hormones will drive us to dispear, joys of pregnancy.

If this is going to relax you a bit, i have just came back from holidays in greece and flying was no different to any other way of traveling, just drink lots of water, walk every 30mins or so and I had my flight socks on just in case. I am flying again on Monday to see my family in Poland so another trip. You will be fine xx

Thanks for the pick-me-up kat. I am probably just having some control issues! Glad to hear that your flying experience was a good one!

no worries shootingstar, there is not much we can do, amazing how less of control of our body and brain we have got when pregnant... xx

Thank you for your help girls!

My newborn pile is massive so far (2 bin bags) and just hope its not a waste! i never bought any newborn clothes with myah as i just thought she would fit in 0-3 but my i was wrong! she was 7lb 4 and poor hubby had to go to a 24 hour tesco to get her some vests and an outfit to come home in as the 0-3 were wayyy to big!

But this time id imagine this baby will be bigger and knowing my luck wont use newborn :/

I've been really unsure how much newborn stuff to get! Just got a few vests so far and one outfit I think! Will get a few more and some sleepsuits for definite.

Ps happy vday to me and the other October 13th-ers!
I've woken up feeling very nauseous as a special treat to mark the day lol xx

Happy V day twinklin! How exciting. Hope you have a great day. I am 21 +3 and suddenly time is flying. Xx

Thanks Augustus :) Yeah I found that once I got past my 20 week scan, time has been flying!

Yay happy V day girls :) Time really does seem to be flying and tbh it's scarring the hell out of me. Not the having the baby bit, I can't wait for that, it's just we have so much we still want to do in the house! Oh well we'll get there.

I packed all Max's baby clothes away a while ago so am looking forward to dragging those out and going through it all. I would definitely say get some newborn but maybe just vests and baby grows and not bother with outfits. They don't want to be fussed with and baby grows are nice and easy when they are tiny. Max had some lovely ones that still looked like little outfits rather than just plain ones. I know quite a few baby's that were at least 9lb but still needed newborn for at least a couple of weeks. I also found the shops that did 'up to 1 month' and 'up to 3 months' were fab, I think M&S do these sizes xxx

Happy V day everyone, I can't believe I go into tri 3 on Sunday. I have my 25 week midwife apt on wednesday can't wait!

With regard to clothes don't forget friends and family will buy you loads of stuff once baby is born, and you have the summer sales coming up in July so might be worth waiting a few weeks or so.

The only think thats been bothering me a little is what sort of bedding to get, I know most have said just blankets and sleeping bags but with being an October mummy and coming up to winter months I want to make sure I have enough warm clothes for him too.

I can't wait, just wish it would all come round sooner, I know i prob won't be saying this nearer to due date but i'm so excited!

Oh my gosh is it that time already Mali?? Does this mean I'm in Tri 3 on thurs? I always thought Tri 3 was 28 weeks? x

Some say different, I thought it was either 26 or 27 weeks.... either way i'm going over there ha ha! I'm ready for it now!

Happy V Day to all those who have reached it :) xx.

I've been having some pain in my back too, I can't sit for too long or stand for too long so I'm up and down like a yo yo!

It's been lovely weather, little man had a great sports day and I've had a lovely birthday weekend having BBQs with family and friends ~ feeling old at 35 haha! Xx

Hope everyone is keeping well, won't be long til some of this group are moving over to tri 3 now yay. Just over 4 weeks for me :) xxx

I went to tri 3 at 27 weeks last time! so scary only just over a week away. we still haven't bought much, off on holiday in a couple of weeks and then need to pull my finger out. hope everyone is enjoying the weather :-) xx

Happy V day to all girls from 13th October! Me tomorrow :)

Mali my ticker and NHS say Tri 3 starts at 27 weeks so 3 weeks for me :) but I am peaking into Tri3 forum already :)

On the bad note i was told today that i am not qualifing for my company to pay my maternity pay so it means that i need to apply on gov.uk to get any sort of pay while on my leave... :( bugger something to do.. hope it won't be to much of a pain... never did anything benefit wise so has no idea what sort of experience to expect... and now to decide when to go on my materity leave, need to calculate everything and see if my idea of going 1st week of September is still a good idea... bugger :(

Well i had a count through the clothes and have certainly got enough! Think i have around 34 vests in newborn :| oops!
Whatever isnt used will just be put on a free site to help someone else but if i struggle doing washing loads whilst getting into routine with new baby then i defo dont need to worry!

i always tell family and friends not to bother buying gifts for baby as we already have everything so either get some sort of keepsake teddy or nappy's that will be used rather than wasted :)

Dont expect much this time as i didnt even receive new baby cards from my own family when myah arrived If anything i ended up receiving new mummy packages from friends with tons of smelly bath stuff in and chocs from hubby :D

I thought the third trimester was 26 weeks, so for me that's Wednesday! Eeep!
I've also look all baby stuff from newborn through to 3 months including the pink (just incase).
I'm still in 2 minds over a double pram I don't know what's best to do. My mil kindly bought our pram for dd so feel guilty getting rid but we are going to ask if she would mind if we sold it on and used the money to buy a double. Looking at the oyster max :)

Hope you all had a lovely weekend x

Wow can't believe there will soon be Oct mums in tri3. I need to get organised. With all this lovely weather I have handwashed our infant car seat covers so that is my first bit of real prep for baby 2. I'm sure I was much more organised first time around. I'd really like to think of a name soon as I like to live with it for a few months before she's born but i'm really struggling.

Hi girlies , I'm back from my few days away in Devon, the weather was wonderful I've got a nice tan, it was a shame about the company I was in :-( . Happy V day to everyone that have made 24 weeks. Mines on Wednesday :-)
Happy birthday weekend becki , kat did you have a great holiday in Corfu ?

Thanks Claire x

What was wrong with the company Hun?

Mustard I'm the same, feel I need to pull my finger out, I find I'm still so tired after work every day and running around after Joe in the evenings I don't have much energy. Anyone else still struggling to find energy? Xx
