My niece ella even makes my sister feel bad because there are days when I read stories for her at weekends and then one day my sister wants to read and she will say "I don't want you! I want aunt! She can read better." She said she feels bad but she thinks she read better too and even actually she has become more animated now with her reading.

May be you have to try to read stories with her aunt together and she will get used to your reading too. Try put some funny things in your reading like changing your voice or make some faces. Good luck!

Sometimes it's the novelty though, don't you think? Someone new showering loads of attention on you and reading you a story. I bet it's more to do with it being different than better. But yeah, a few funny faces or noises always go down well.
