I'm on o2 and have the free text bolt ons.
I rang 4444 to see how many texts I have left and it says 268 and one megabyte remaining.
What's the one megabyte for? i thought it might be internet so Ive gone on but its took £2 off me :?
anyone know?

Could be for multimedia messages?

i have o2 and i use the megabyte for the internet and it dont charge me, just comes off the megabyte x

It's for the internet. The megabyte gets used pretty quick depending on what site you go on so once it's run out it will then start charging you.

The 1MB is for when you download things on the internet so any page you load is classed as downloading on your phone as it needs to load so it will use it up. 1MB really doesn't last long. Mine lasts about oooh, 5 minutes lol
