I've posted this in ask a mum too but thought I might get more traffic here. Can anyone tell me what this is?? It's under DS's arm, looks like scratches but its under the skin. It doesn't fade under pressure. He's not bothered by it, says it doesn't itch or hurt. I can't think that he's done anything to hurt himself there. He was stung by a bee on that arm today but further down and the sting is hardly noticeable now. He seems fine in himself but of course I'm worrying! xxx

Looks like friction burns? Has he been playing on anything?

That's what I thought, we've been to the park today and he did take a tumble but I didn't think he caught himself there. He's such a typical boy though, always climbing on things and often taking a tumble so I suppose it's quite possible it's self inflicted! Xxx

Yeah, I think it's just friction from climbing. Boys will be boys!!!

Thanks ladies, that's what my sensible head says too. I just panicked a bit when it didn't fade under a glass but like I say he seems fine and full of beans so I think and hope I'm just being paranoid! Xxx

I get marks like that when I scratch, bursting blood vessels under the skin. Tend to get them on my boobs occasionally where the skin is thinner I suppose?
