H & m do good vests that you can see in store (https://m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0534164001.html) i lived in those & just wore it with a cardigan on cooler days. I also had some from jojos (Breton Stripe Nursing Top | JoJo Maman Bebe) but didn’t like those so much, I have tiny boobs even when my milk came in & there was just too much fabric for me to fight through. I hope that helps.
How are your twins coming along? How many weeks are you now?
Same as elfs mummy. I agree all the nursing tops just look the same. I bought a bunch of cheap stretchy vests in a size bigger to wear underneath stuff and it works fine. Then I can mostly wear what I want over the top.
Last time I wore nursing vests underneath blouses but found I felt my chest was a bit exposed so this time I've bought some crop tops to try underneath so I can pull them up. I also really like the nursing covers with the wiring to keep them off baby xx
I'm not nursing yet, still waiting on the big day so I've been reading up about nursing wear as I have to bf.
From what I've read is most people layer up with regular vests/tops etc. So they can pull a the vest down and top up. Exposing only minimal breast tissue. Means you don't have to mess about finding and buying specific nursing friendly wear.
There's a group on Facebook that is full of ladies who post there breast feeding friendly clothes that they find in regular stores etc. It's called 'can I breastfeed In it? UK', has a picture of a woman and child at the beach as their profile pic.
I didn't like the one up one down option - particularly anytime soon after birth as I wasn't comfortable exposing my tummy area with just a vest top xx
