hi

im hoping someone can help

my little one will be 3 in feb, just been on the phone to the nursery near us(a little late i know)
they will be willing to offer him a place after the easter holidays after his birthday, theyve said they like children to be dry, my problem is i havent got a clue about how to go about potty training, hes started taking his nappy off when its full so im guessing this is a good sign, hes got speech developmental delays so how will he tell me he needs the toliet??

im so confused

please help

hi

we had a problem with our little boy and toilet training he was quite slow with his progress too and as for the nursery saying they like children to be dry they have to take them by law no matter weather they are dry or not

our son tends to cross his legs or play with his will when he needs the toilet, we are yet to master poos though he will only poo in a nappy as he's a little afraid

try sitting your son on a potty or the toilet and just let nature takes its course but give big praise when he does wee or poo the more attention and fuss you make of it the more he'll think ooh if i do that then i'll get praise for it

other than that talk to ur health visitor

good luck
