Every morning when I wake up my hands are numb and my fingers look like sausages!

The numbness is probably due to sleeping with my hands under my head, but the sausage fingers must be a preggers thing :D Have had to stop using my phone for Facebook in the mornings as I have a teeny tiny qwerty keyboard (Nokia E71) and my big fat fingers are too huge for the keys!

Anyone else getting sausage fingers? xx

They're nearly always numb and feel like sausages  but it goes away quickly! Does the sausage-ness go away? ;) Could be fluid retention, mention it to your midwife.

Yup, the sausageness goes away after about 10-15 mins or so :D Quicker if I lie down and sick my arms in the air! Midwife already knows.. she says just ANOTHER one of the pg sypmtoms people get. As long as no face swelling or rapid swelling or headaches etc.. then all is well ;) xx

I got sausage fingers anyways haha! My midwife said my face looked swollen, my feet are swollen too and i think my hands are getting bigger! xxx

My feet are bigger too!
We had a party to go to at the weekend (which was away from home so we booked a swish hotel too ;)) and I was determined to give my skyscraper heels one last outing :D
NO CHANCE! Couldn't get my big fat feet in them at all :( Didn't realise til then that my feet aren't exactly swollen, just generally bigger than they were. Apparently it's because we're more top heavy than usual and bigger feet provide a sturdier base :D
So comfy boots and flipflops it is until June then *sigh* xx

I was away to say I have fat fingers anyway hahaha. When they're numb they feel massive eh?
my ankles are a bit swollen, bought some new converse today and I was surprised that a 6 wasnt too small!

They really do feel enormous when they're numb in the morning :D They're starting to feel a bit fat now, just talking about them :D Apologies for any typos then :P

I'm not buying any more shoes.. too depressing! If they fit me now, they won't later lol.. so am using my 'old stock' of well worn in boots and shoes and hoping for some filp flop weather :D xx

get the numbness but so sausageness yet thank goodness lol x

I have this, have done for ages. I spoke to midwife about it last week and she said it's down to Carpal Tunnel which is apparently pretty common in pregnancy, particularly Tri 3. She said it's nothing to worry about xx

I had this really bad with my first pregnancy and have just started to get it again with this one. If you were a wrist support it helps especially during the night.

no sausageness for me yet. oh so much to look forward to. lol. xxx

Hello, i'm suffering with this too - hands and feet. Nightmare.
