Mine was unplanned and I had much the same feelings as you've been having - really tired etc, and was 6 weeks since my last period. Even though I had done tests before when I was late, I didn't worry about those as much as the tests for this time round.. I don't know why. My OH also kept saying I should do one, and I was like, nah it's ok.. I had the period pains too, but no period..
I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you should test. I cried when I did mine - too many emotions and I didn't know if I was sad, scared, worried, happy... probably all of the above.
It's nerve wracking I know.
I did mine when I woke up early one morning and OH was still asleep. I then went downstairs and did it myself by my own choice as there was no-one telling me to do one! You probably don't need early morning pee, as I probably didn't either, but if you do do it, it stops you having an afternoon faint line, and you would be best knowing one way or the other as opposed to building up the guts to do another test as your first wasn't clear.
All the best chick
And if you are pregnant, there are loads of people on here that could help you out. It's my first pregnancy too, and I know how scary it all is trying to understand what it all means.
