Note to self: dont always listen to your mummy!

Just a rant:

I love me mummy to bits and she is very experianced in the baby department, with 9 kids and having suffered 4 m/c.

Well she keeps panicking me, everytime I mention something she get panics and worries, goes on about how she doesnt think thats normal and how that isnt right. Last night she told me how she m/c at 10/11 weeks, scary! Well she means well and shes the most fantastic mother in the world who is only worrying about me but Ive decided I shall not be telling her much from now on otherwise Ill end up having a breakdown from her worrying! ha ha

Anyway, Was going to ask how long does it normally take the midwife to contact you after being referred from the doctors? any one know?

hi my mums the same. im going to the docs later about something to put her mind at rest instead of mine its silly lol! i told my mum that i know she is only trying to help and i appreciate that but its my pregnancy and my body and just because im pregnant doesnt mean she has to fuss around me all the time but i still loved her and that seemed to work...maybe saying something like that would help?!

my midwife took about 2 and half weeks to contact me and my first appointment with her 1 and half weeks after tht, meaing i'll be 10 weeks before i even get booked in with them! only 5days to go though!
