What iPhone is it? It might be asking you to update to ios5 if the iPhone is a 3G, just plug iPhone into a computer and it should bring up iTunes and give you the option to update from there. It should be free. Then download tapatalk. You can use safari but it can be slow and you can't upload pics (I don't think).

do u have to pay for tapatalk? how do i find it?
cnt find it the appstore, didnt relise iphones were so confusing lol.
theres a few apps iv tried to dowmload but i need 4.0
