I just had a phonecall from my gynie nurse to talk about putting my clomid dose up to 100mg :cheer: because going by my last prog test it looked like I didn't Ov. So I was telling her about charting my temperature and she basically told me not to bother as they are quite unreliable so the gynies don't take any notice of them and they could give false hope of being PG or may think you're not. So that's it, from today I'm no longer a chart stalker. I must admit I'm quite glad because I get really stressed out when my chart doesn't show that I've ovulated or I think my temp may be too low post-ov and that stress probably delays Ov even more and it would get me wound up and moody (poor OH).

Hon, that advise seems a bit dodgy to me. It's the most reliable way to tell if/ when you are ovulating. But then again I do see why you would be excited by not doing it any more.

Why not have a break from charting for a couple months and see if the clomid helps. You never know, it might do the trick and then you won't have to worry about it anymore anyway :D

Tha's why they do the CD 21 tests for and if AF hasn't shown up by CD28 I have to have another test done then too. I suppose it's personal choice whether to chart or not, I did find it useful and for the first 2 months of doing it it looked like it was pretty much spot on as I knew the day AF would come. And it did :( . I just bough a new thermometer aswell ggrr :) .

I forgot to say that she said to do a HPT tomorrow as you never know. Who am I to argue when being advised to POAS :D

cos check your temp lol

i cant totally understand too , im certainly not as picky over m,y temping now , i even miss days and dont care im just using it as a basic guide and not letting it rule my life ! at the mo my temps disagree with my opk's so its slightly nerving !

glad there putting up you chlomid ! lets hope it does the trick !
