Not sure what else to try

I've been looking, and theres a lot of comments and things floating around the net saying that perhaps people are going overdue because they are stressing too much and the stress hormones are halting labour, so maybe just chilling out and relaxing will help.... Its never going to work for me, i've spent 2 days in tears begging the little monster to get out!

I wish I could stop stressing but my little girl in so low and insecure at the mo, its really getting me down. I just dont know how to make her happy and to stop her from worrying about things she just shouldnt be thinking about....

I wish i had some suggestions about how to make her feel better about things, maybe some of the other girls will. Have you included her in loads of the baby prep things? Maybe some of it is feeling a little bit like she's going to be left out and not wanted (my niece is 4, and they had some behavior issues after my sister was taken into hospital)

Shes really excited about the baby etc and has helped me with the baby clothes etc... She mentions being worried about if I go into labour at night who will look after me cause all the drs and midwives will be at home sleeping, who will look after her, how much it'll hurt me and she is also upset that she cant come in with me to hold my hand etc..... Shes also got the added stress of going back to school in September in a new year, and we're moving house in the next month etc etc

I've had a thought, maybe you could ask your midwife if she could talk to her about what happens at the hospital, such as how there is always someone there to look after you as she's worried that you'll be alone. They might be able to reassure her that they'll be there, and that they will do whatever it takes to make sure you aren't in pain and are coming home. It might have more meaning from someone she sees as a person who will looking after you

Thats a good idea hun, thanx, may ask my Health Visitor about it as my midwife hasnt been too good to be honest, its like she cant be arsed...

siany... i can't believe you are 2 days away from your due date!

I think we joined pf at the same time and now you are so very close!

Really hope things start moving along for you soon and that your little girl starts to feel less anxious about the birth

xx

Hi ya hun, I know its gone so quick... Although these last few days are going too slow... lol
My little girl has been home less then 10 mins and shes already had a cry, looks like I have a cheery week ahead... not :-(
Siany

i know how you feel... i still have 10 days but it feels like 100!

Its obvious she cares an awful lot about her mummy to be so worried :( poor thing.

If you feel like it, you should try jumping on a trampoline.

I've been doing it a lot recently, and it's bringing on painful BH! :)

It does drag at times... Especially the last few weeks...
Yeah she cares alot, a bit too much bless her...
Lauren, trampolining sounds like a plan, may pee myself tho lol...

I pee myself all the time, my hubby has gotten used to waking up in a wet bed!

lol I actually pee and when Ive wiped, I need another lol

I'm so lucky i barely need to pee.... was thinking of your little girl, does she have a fave teddy that could possibly reassure her is looking after you if you took it the hospital with you?

I've stopped even wiping, as I never actually stop peeing...

It just goes from a gush (while on the toilet) to a constant dribble.

Also, over the last few days I've started squirting while having an orgasm - something I've never done before!

Apparently women can only squirt whilst having an orgasm, when they are extra relaxed, so thats probably why... ur so so relaxed lol

It was quite scary though, as the first time I squirted it was while I was using my vibrator and my hubby was out.

Because of the bump, I couldn't see anything, and could just feel myself letting out lots of fluid.

I thought my waters had broken!

lol Oh bless ya, Ive never been able to, but Im not always overly relaxed lol
