not pooped for 5 days

lo is 18wks old & hasnt pooped now for 5 days. She has never had a regular pattern but not gone this long before. is this normal in a bf baby? she strains occasionally but doesnt seem as grouchy as she has got in the past if she hasnt gone for a couple of days. any advice, should i do anything to move things along or wait

I'd say its fine hun- as long as when she goes its soft she isn't constipated. It's v rare for bf baby to get constipated and if she isnt showing any signs of discomfort then dont worry. I think hv told me its around that age that they start to go less often, up to one in ten days sometimes!!!!Ethan went 8 days once! So I wouldn't do anything except keep bf and it'll come when she's ready

Henry went 5 days then pooped morning of day 6. Bf babies can go a week-10 days without going sometimes x
