Not engaged!

Well had midwife apt this afternoon and am 2 days away from 39 weeks, baby head down but not engaged. She is not worried at all, said he will engage when ready. I have a big feeling he is going to be late! I am starting to get impatient. Already had 2 friends had their babies 2 weeks early!! Just trying to keep busy and not think too much that could be another 3 weeks til I meet the little one...

Have you tried the birthing ball to try to get the head engaged?

No I haven't got one, do you think I should get one? Been doing loads of walking, cleaning, swimming twice a week... Didn't really think about ball but the midwife doesn't seem to think it's a problem that he's not engaged at all...I've seen different opinions fom other midwives from people's expereinces on here though...

I'm new to all of this but I think it is supposed to help. Having said that, I don't have one yet!

some babies dont engage until they are ready to come out..
think about when you found out you where pregnant.. how far ago that was.. compered to that.. whats 3 weeks (saying that tho i would hate goin overdue myself )
