REALLY stuffing nose and haven't had nose bleeds but have tasted blood a couple of times (could be nosebleed going the wrong way! )

My sis had LOADS of nosebleeds if that makes you feel better - and its in my book so it must be normal! :rotfl:

I'm finding this too - I'm like a one woman snot machine!

Sometimes when I blow my nose there's a bit of blood in it, but I haven't had an actual nosebleed since tri 1. Why on earth being preggers makes your nose stuffy I have no idea - our bodies are strange things sometimes!!

yep, nosebleeds every day. Really annoying.

I am prone to nosebleeds in winter normally though, I broke my nose a couple of times at school (playing lacrosse!). Central heating makes it much worse. If I remember to do it, a cotton bud smeared with vaseline/balm and rubbed on the inside of my nostrils really helps, as does drinking a lot of water. Just don't push the cotton bud up too far!

Yup had a nosebleed whilst driving down the motorway a few weeks ago and going at 70mph on the outside lane - lucky to get pulled over in front of the car on the inside lane whilst holding one hand on the wheel and the other on my nose - and trying to prevent me from getting covered in blood .....lasted for a good 15mins
Had another one since but was only a baby one -

Ah glad it's not just me! My nose is always really stuffy and bleeds really easily...not loads of blood, but more than usual! Will stop worrying about blood pressure now then lol! :D xxx

Mine isn't bleeding as such but when I blow it there is some blood. Not as bad as Tri 1 but still there.
I'm also seeing a bit of blood when I'm sick - not sure whether thats nose blood I've swallowed or blood from my stomach/throat from retching.

I've been sick since week 4 of my pregnancy with only 3 days off - this morning I finished being sick as usual (including blood), came out of the toilet, my OH said goodbye to go to work and I burst into tears for no apparent reason. He gave me a hug and asked me what was wrong and there was really no reason for it except I was fed up of being sick. He tried to be understanding but just said 'it's only a bit of sick, it'll pass soon'. How the hell does he know? It's been going on now for 10wks - it's not pleasant and I just wanted to have a cry about it.

Awww don't feel bad for crying about being sick. I had awful sickness and was stuck in bed for about 3 weeks! I was so weak through not eating enough and anything I ate during the day and evening came straight back up. I hate the feeling of being sick and I would just cry out of frustration from feeling so rubbish all the time. At the time I couldn't see an end to feeling like that. My OH would come into the bathroom and rub my back when I was dry heaving or being sick, but I don't think he understood just how much it was getting me down. Sickness went about 17 weeks or so, but I still had my moments of feeling really nauseous :?

Hi,

Yeah I'd only ever had one nose bleed before I'd got pregnant but I've had a few since.
