No Sweep

Hehe! We'd literally only just started trying when we found out I was expecting so I never had to wait too long...this is torture though!

I'm really confident that i'm gonna sail through it all (I like to think that!) but then whenever I get a little ache or twinge I absolutely shit myself and think, OMG i'm going to fail! lol! I'm sure i'll be fine! Looking forward to the gas and air! Hehe!

Not long left for you though Evie?! It'll fly by! And then it'll bloody drag! Grrrrr! xx

I think the only reason that I got a sweep when I did was cos I had been contracting for 24 hrs and she had a feel to see what I was doing as community mw pointed out yesterday it has not actually been put in my notes (I think it could be assumed from what she had written though!!), community mw yesterday couldn't justify doing one yesterday, and although go to clinic tomorrow am not sure unless anything alters that it can be then either... Apparently the guidelines here u get a sweep at 40 and 41 weeks with your 1st and only 41 weeks with number 2...

Yeah i've heard that too. My midwife is very dismissive though. It was my consultant that recommended she do one at term as well... Back again on fri, really hope I go into labour before then, cant stand my MW she's bloody useless! X
