Not sure if this is a stupid or not.

Charley had his first set of jabs on Tuesday which made my little man cry and did I feel guilty. Tuesday night he slept right through to the point I woke him yesturday morning as I had to go out but at 4.30am this morning I woke to him crying as he sounded in distress when I looked over at him he was still asleep but crying in his sleep as if he was having a nightmare. and his little arms and legs were going 10 to the dozen.

This went on for 1/2hr as I didnt want to wake him as I wasnt sure what would happen so I just left him to it. When he did finally wake up he had a smile for me. Im thinking he was dreaming off them needles.

Has anyone else had this?

Should I have woke him?

im not sure if its the same thing, but G has done the crying in her sleep thing. I dunno wether its right or not, but i just pick her up and give her a cuddle, if he was fine when he woke I wouldnt worry to much. xxx

It did kind off scare me at first as I didnt know what was happening

Grace has done this and I thought it might be night terrors, when I looked it up it says to pick up & cuddle but not speak as you may appear in their dream and it could scare them more, you can shush them but not anything that they will recognise your voice. Not sure how true it is but we've only had it twice

Thank you x I will have to pick him up next time.

I did feel bad

Kynon did this last night, i just cuddled him a bit. Such a shame as they seem so distressed.

we ahve runs of night terrors, i did a post a while back and some research on it - not conclusive, some say to pick up, others not. its horrible to see them cry in their sleep. if she does wake up she is usually super affectionate. i always pick up and rock etc with her. my lo's usually only last max 10mins and always occur either 1, 1.5 or 2 hours of her going down, usually to the dot!
