I am! I'm slightly in shock though, Lo went 6h between feeds! And she went down at 10.30! This is the 3rd good night in a row. She's saving all the naughtyness for the long weekend when I'm on my own again!
I'm feeding on my painful side though

Ooo only just seen this - fab idea! My LO went back down half an hour ago, I need to sleep but I had to catch up on here first as its been a busy few days!

Spinsugar i hope it becomes more regular for you don't wanna jinx it but my LO has been getting much better and even slept for 6 hours straight the other night! Xx

Well I'm on first feed of night which is fab from 10:30 - BUT I actually woke about half an hour ago as one of my boobs was soooo full and sore! So have been laying here hoping he'd wake up! How on earth do I stop this?!?! I decided to check his temperature (had jabs earlier) which I think resulted in him waking up, but otherwise I would have just been laying here in agony! Anyone else bf get this? I haven't really had it at night before! Xxx

I'm up for feed number 2, not so bad considering he was poorly.

Claire I have the same problem but I've got into a little routine now, Harrison has his last feed at about 8.30 then at 10 I will express & completely empty both boobs, this gives me a good 6 hours (as if he would go that long!) before they start to get full x

I'm still up ;-(... He's been really quite upset during this feed which isn't normal at all, but is finally falling asleep on me now.

That's not a bad plan Sara I might give that a go coz I don't want this every night if he starts sleeping better! How does H seem now? Xx

Yeah it works for us as the one thing I can guarantee with his nightfeeds is that he goes from 8.30 til 1. I only feed from one boob per feed otherwise I get oversupply as my supply is huge, so it goes something like this:

8.30 right boob
10.30 express & empty both boobs
1am left boob
5 am right boob
7.30 am left boob

So if I didn't express at 10.30, my right boob would be going from 8.30 til 5am which would be too painful. Does that make sense?

He seems much better now, still got a bit of a temp so I've topped him up with a half dose of calpol, but definitely a lot happier. Even got a smile when I got him up!

This is quite a good night for Izzy went down at 9, woke up at half 2 and back down for 3, then just woke up at 6 but she's had a few sucks and dozed off! Tried waking her but not interested lol.

That happened with my boobs tonight - I use one boob per feed to make sure she's getting the hindmilk but I had to feed her on both at the half 2 feed because they were so full and sore! Hasn't happened before - I did express quite abit over the last 2 days so maybe they've produced more than normal because of that. Hmmm! Xx

Yep that masks sense Sara (thought I'd check I wasn't calling u the wrong name!).

I do both boobs every feed as my supply is quite slow, but I guess I must have been using my left boob more recently (or first more) as the right is fine!

Max finally went down at about 5:30 and up again at 7, so although that's not awful, that hour and a half sleep just doesn't do it for me! Xxx

Im tired been up at 2-3 and now since fecking 6 and just cleaned up a poop and my OH commenting that I can "Chill out" all day i want to punch him!!

Well Harrison has already nodded off so think he will be up around 12 rather than 1. Did try & keep him up but be was getting very grumpy so gave him his bedtime feed & he's sleeping in his Moses basket now.

We are very lucky he's got himself into a bit of a nighttime routine, gives me & oh a chance to spend some time together!

Hi ladies I've just been reading through this thread. I'm up several times a night too, glad to see I'm not alone. I'm really struggling with lack of sleep. If I can I will say hi tonight but I bottle feed so don't have a free hand to type! Plus my lo is feeding terrible just now, think he has silent reflux its a flamin nightmare! Roll on 12 weeks when it's meant to get easier lol x

Currently undertaking the bed time feed. The most painful feed. But I'm well dosed on pain killers!
Hubby has a bottle of expressed milk and will give her the first feed. I'm hoping she goes a few hours either side so I can sleep! Weve not tried this before!
