Awh Kelly I hate nights like that. Well Lo has just woken, its like he has an alarm thay goes off at exactly 1 haha, hopefully it'll be a quickie!

I'm up for first time tonight - She's only been sucking 5 mins and is practically asleep already! Keep having to jig her to get her to suck! Xx

Hi ladies, well I'm up for the first time since 11 which isn't bad, but I've got breast engorgment AGAIN so I have been awake since about 3:30 willing him to wake to ease the pain through feeding ;-( gonna go docs tomorrow as don't know what is going on but it happens so much and is do painful. Hope your babies are being good? Xxx

Up for feed number 2, he's definitely in a routine now - only at night though.

Sucks about the bleeding L

& Claire I don't think there's a lot the docs can do, it might be that you have to get up to express during the night, but I think that your body will start to adapt if you give it time.

Anyone up? My oh has just gone to work and lo is STILL asleep from 8.30pm!!!

We had a terrible night. The doctor told us to increase his gaviscon for the silent reflux so he's had 2 feeds with double dose and we had a 2 hour screaming and straining match he was so constipated from 4 til 6am. Bloody nightmare. He still hasn't pooed but is wide awake now! resorted to putting him in his bouncy chair up in the nursery to see if he'll drop off but don't think that'll happen. I'm shattered.

The last 2 nights my 6 month old (!!) has wanted to feed every 2 hours during the night! I can't wait till he sleeps through, he's never fed less than twice but this is just ridiculous lol xxx

Awwww kk that sounds awful, poor baba.

My lo was prescribed gaviscon twice, first time worked a treat, second time he had really bad constipation so I stopped it. He still has reflux but not as bad as it was, I figure it'll heal itself eventually, he's older than your lo at 4mo tho.

Try giving some cooled boiled water and see of it helps loosen up.

I'm so glad it's morning and I know longer have at attempt to get lo to sleep. He was up at 2 then 3.30 until 5.30!!! Now he's looking all cute like butter wouldn't melt!

Well I'm back from the docs and I definitely have mastitis so have been given antibiotics. Hopefully this is an end to all the pain! Hope everyone is recovering from a pretty bad night all round. See u in the early hours of the morning! Xxx

I've been really lucky & had no infections or anything but I think its because I use nipple shields x

I wonder if you're right sara?! Although I think I'm just unlucky with blocked ducts and to be honest, I went to a festival mid August and didnt feed or express for about 12 hours and I think that has been the cause of all my problems since. It was agony then and I soooo regret it! Thought I'd be able to hand express while there but nothing came out even though boobies were like watermelons!! X

Its a pain having to use them & I'm still a bit sad that I could never get him to latch directly, but at least its saved my nipples!

Oh keeps offering to let me sleep through the night & just give H expressed milk in bottles but I know I would be in AGONY by morning so even though I would love it, it just wouldn't be worth it!
