I usually just have a read through hear and don't add anything myself but I'm too excited not to. Jakes occasionally done 4.5 hour stretches, but he's usually every 2-3 hours (killer).... He just did a mega 6.5 hour stretch!!!! It would have been a lot more beneficial if hubby hadn't come home from work half way through banging around and talking top volume but even so haha!!!

As a result, I am leaking milk everywhere!!!

Hi jess, how old is your LO? It's usually VERY intense the first couple of weeks. The hourlu bf nearly killed me. Hang in there.

Hannah did 5 hours which is the usual. Definitely needs a nappy change though.

Bad night here unfortunately. E woke crying at 10:30 and has just slept in bed with me since. Every time she's woken, she's woken crying, poor baby.

Well Harrison went down early because he was knackered, seriously think I'm going to have to bring his bedtime forward but it seems too early to put him down before 7??

Anyway he did 7-2.45, 3.30-7.

Don't wanna jinx myself but hr seems to be in a little routine now!

13 days old. My nipples need a break baby!!
Just woke again about 2 and a half hours so fed changed and is lying on the bed with me now OH is up for work. Not spoiling him am I?

I had to do a night feed last night.
It was 9.30-5 for a while and then three nights of sleeping through 9.30-7ish. Last night was 9.30-3 then 3.15-7.30.

Thing is he seems really hungry! He cries for food straight away! He was off his bottles for a while though. Xx

Agree with SaraLouise - can't spoil a newborn! Give them all the love and cuddles and special treatment you can because they're only little for such a short time

I couldn't get too mad at my OH last night, he finished work at midnight then had to be in again at 7 whilst having a young baby at home that doesn't sleep through - evil rota!!!

Jakey is quite happily fist munching/trying to suck his thumb whilst I eat my breakfast now he's my favourite baby ever today!!!

Well Max was ok last night thankfully. He slept 11-2, 3-6, 6:30-8. Still no 9-5 though like a few weeks ago! Xx

Fairly good night here, 8.30-2.30 (popped the dummy in and straight back to sleep) so 2.30-4am (feed) 4.15-6.30am

Hannah did another 3+ hours but they were noisy.
Lie in today as no plans and I feel a bit crap!

Since my LO has been sleeping better/longer at night she has been sleeping more in the day too - is that normal?

She used to nap every 2 hours for 20 mins but now she is napping for over an hour but still every 2 hours!

My lo is wide awake she was laid babbling to herself loud in cot so iv had to get up with her it's gonna b a long night

I got too excited about last night. He went down at 8.30, woke at 11.45, down again at 12.45 and up at 2.45. He usually wakes me up noisily sucking his fist - tonight it was the mega trumps from his bum!!

Haha at the trumping tigger! Hannah is awake already. 2 hours earlier than usual. She didn't cluster feed all evening and this is the result. Boo.
We're leaving at 8am tomorrow so it'll be interesting what happens the rest of the night! Eek.

She feels really hot in her swaddle too, and only has a nappy on.

Oh Clare it must be so awful when they are awake but not actually crying it anything! So frustrating but no doubt she is smiling away at you so you can't even feel the usual helpless and angry that you get when they're screaming!

Well we got an extra 50 mins tonight so hoping it will slowly get later and later until we are back up just one feed again (and eventually none of course!). So 9:30 till 2:50, still feeding now xxx
