Nightfeeds Chat Thread

Hmm Hannah fed, changed and reswaddled but awake and smiling. Gorgeous but....uh oh!

We thought we were in for a bad night from the neighbours tonight, they were fighting out the front of the building and banging about etc from 11am...after several calls with the police an officer came round at about 11pm and gave them a bollocking (she knew them already from the last assault) and Weve not heard them since. Score! :-)
So we've had a much better night tonight. Up at 2.30 settled by 4, & 7 (according to the old time lol)

We had a bad night, Seren woke about every two hours. She did the same last night too, hope this isn't a new pattern :-( her sleeping seems to be getting worse not better, I'm jealous of people getting long stretches! Xxx

My baby slept for 6 hours. :-) however my DD woke every 2 hours from 3 so didn't reap the benefits. I'm tired. And the clock change really hurt my brain last night ;-)

Spin your neighbours are just awful! I'm glass your noght was ok. Paddles that's a bit gutting that they can't have a good night at the same time!

Hannah was up am hour in the end but then super noisy so hubby took her downstairs sleeping until 9.30am so I got a lie in. Yay

My lo slept 7 hrs then after a feed another 3 hrs - woohoo! She is getting good at this ;) She must like having her own room and more space in bed!

Spin, your neighbours are a bloody nightmare! They really should go live apart!
Sorry ammdaz for your bad night. Hope u get longer stretches soon.

Nice one paddles!

Bex, lovely to have a lie in yay!

Very nice buggy. Sounds good!

J spent his first night away at his grans. He slept 9.40-4.20 ( including the extra hour) so 8hr40 then 4.50-7 and then needed re swaddling and slept until 8. He has been so good for my mum. Im really glad he was good but also sad that he doesn't miss me yet lol xx

Spin I hope your neighbours get locked up soon. They sound terrible.

Amandaz. Sorry you're not getting long stretches yet. It's so hard when you get little sleep with 2 kids as you can't nap in the day.

Looks like some of us had successful nights. How was your night out Kelly?

Hopefully my two will learn to sleep at the same time. They are currently both napping. Me and DH have downed tools and are currently vegging on the sofa. Lovely.

It was ok thanks paddles. But, we went to one wrong place and I got elbowed in the nose by an Eastern European and then had a beer poured down my bum so looked like id wet myself...

How difficult must it be with two who don't sleep at the same time! Yikes. Enjoy your Sunday! Xx

Well that's it then.. Our lovely week of 9pm until 4/5am is now over apparently! No reason of course, but yesterday he woke at 2:40 and today it is 1:30!! Tomorrow we'll prob be back to every
2 hours again! ;-( thought this was the start of something good xxx

Oh Claire what a shame :-( crazy how things can change so quickly for no apparent reason!

Were up for feed 1 but I was awake anyway, I had indigestion and the wind woke me.

Don't know how long she will sleep for with this stretch but probably not that long as she doesn't seem to be getting much milk now due to TT, I usually have to take her off as it's too painful after a while.

Hope everyone else is having a good night!

Oh no Claire, how disappointing for you. Hopefully it's just a blip and at least you know he can do it.

We're just up doing second feed. She did a five hour stretch at the beginning of the night, 7.30 - 12.30, which is a great improvement although a bit early for me to take full advantage. She woke herself up this time by being sick. Hoping I can settle her back ok, she's always unsettled past this point xxx

Oh Claire, I can sympathise. I used to have a baby who slept so well. She never slept through but didn't cry like she does now. Am hoping it's just a phase and she'll go back to how she once was'

Max has slept through twice and that was about 2 weeks ago! I was hoping it was the start. Clearly not.stoooopid clocks I have been up at 1 instead of 2 and the 5 instead of 6. I could cope with my day starting at 6am but not 5am it's far to early!! How can I fix it? X

Make his feeds later?
Im not sure tbh as it didn't effect J at all.

We had a good night. Joshy slept 9.30-7.30 :-) x

Ah Kelly I'm so jelous! It's completely moved his feeds! I'm gutted I was in a canny routine. I will try tonight to give his last feed later. Hopefully it will work. When did j start sleeping so well? Max is only 7 weeks I'm just wondering when he started to go all night like that! Xx

We did 9.15-5.45 and 6.30-8.30. I'd say going to bed around 9 is good, I was recommended around 7pm but I think it is too early, she'll be up too soon. I try and do a feed between 8-9pm.

Morning ladies. As Hannah doesn't usually go to sleep till midnight we use the clocks to our advantage and got her off at 11.20. She slept till 4.50 then fed for 30 mins. Sadly her sleep ever since has been unfeasibly noisy! !! It's mad!

Claire, fx it's a blip. Hope you get the feed times sorted Amy, maybe try moving them 10 minutes at a time?
Kelly that's another great night! Bet you look great. :-)
Awww Ammdaz, poor Seren with the sickness.
Your night was good buggy, yay.

Oh that was the first time he has done 10 hours straight. At around 8 weeks is when he started doing 9.15-4/5 and skipping the 2am feed. Sometimes he wakes at 6, others at 3.30. But its only once he will be up x

Noisy sleep is worse than them being awake sometimes. 11.20-4.50 is good though :-) x
