Hannah has slept all day in the basket, she has just woken for feeds. Almost worried! Too perfect!!!

Phoenix is like this. Pretty much an angel during the day but a bit of a devil at night!

Harrison has just had his bedtime bottle an hour early!? God knows what's going to happen tonight!

Aurelia has just had a huge fed and is now asleep i hope she'll sleep better tonight unlike the last 3 nights x x x

As predicted Hannah is going milk crazy this evening as she didn't have as much as usual today. Eeek.
It amazes me that my boobs are apparently bottomless!?!!

Good luck for tonight ladies. I've just fed E & put her to bed awake. Am trying to get her to self settle now & not just fall asleep on the boob. I'm also going to try & get her to go down sleepy but awake for daytime naps. Has anyone got any tips or advise for me?

It amazes me that my boobs are apparently bottomless!?!!

That sounds just like Aurelia, but she is constant and I mean constant. My nipples have been bleeding, and they are badly cracked too. But i'm stll feeding her. She is latching on perfectly its just how long she is on there for and then bites too. I'm using lanolin and have nipple shields have even gone as far as walking around the house with curtains clothes and nothing on top and putting savoy cabbage down my bra....ahhhhh but oh well she is worth it all x x x

Well after posting that at quarter past 7 Harrison has proceeded to scream hysterically since & I have no idea why?! I've tried everything! Short of giving him calpol I don't know what to do?! But I dont want to give it him without knowing whats wrong?

Oh Noooo to the bleeding!! I have to use shields. Mine isn't surface damage but more internal pain of the strong suck if that makes sense?! Hannah is still going... Could be a long night!

I've had to just leave him with OH, I feel terrible but listening to him cry is just upsetting me which isn't going to help him.

I'm just going to sit upstairs for 10 minutes & cry

By now I usually have a more settled and tired baby after screaming or crying for a while. But, hes smiling away, craving some tickles and fuss. Obviously I gave in ad I cant resist his face! Just hope he still settles for bed at 10 x

Saralouise, even though he's still quite young, teething can cause headaches as the teeth move down. He could be having one of those? My E had a few of them way before any teeth came through and I would give her calpol to calm it which worked well!

Sara, huge hugs I hope he stops crying for you soon. Isn't it awful when you don't know what's wrong

my first night of proper formula top up. Hope it works she had both boobs between 6 and 7, swaddled at 8 and had right boob till empty, then 50ml formula then left boob (but that was already empty!) just put her down, she's still awake but hopefully will settle I can't stand another zombie day.

can't even have a lie in as hubby needs the bedroom from 9 to sleep

I sympathise spin, I don't have enough milk and mix feeding can be a bit of a juggling act - tricky to know how much formula they need and when. I'm trying to make her stick to every 3 hrs now, preferably 4hrs and if she is seeming to be hungry before 3 hrs then I put her on the boob and she has boob in the night so I can lie with her and get some rest x

Fingers crossed for you spin! Poor Harrison Sara ;-( does sound like teethies.. What is it with these July babies teething so early? I don't think Max has anything yet, although he won't really let me have a good enough look to be able to know for sure!

I am sooo tired I have started bedtime routine earlier than usual so he is dropping off now.. Hope I don't end up regretting it later, but I just can't keep my eyes open! Night night ladies, fingers crosses for sleeps zzzz xxxxx

Fx for you all. Hannah has been feeding since 7pm with tiny breaks, it could be a late night for me!!

I do seem to be really lucky with my supply, it never seems to run out. I worry she's not getting enough but loads of wet and dirty nappies so assume she is. It's luck though, you shouldn't feel bad if you have to top up etc. I had zero luck with the birth (from ny point of view) so I'm glad my body can get something right!!

It's really warm tonight, we're all sweating here!!!

Feeling its going to be a long one tonight. . Serena has been feeding nearly every hour since 7ish... just hope my milk supply can keep up...
