Hi ladies

Still getting my head round all this. Ttc cycle #2 although the first cycle was pretty gung-ho with no timing thought about.

Been tracking cycle on an app and am CD12 today. Took my first OPK and had a faint test line. Do I just keep testing daily until I get a positive? DTD 3 out of last 4 days....got a bit excited lol....but calming down now to every other day if we can but don't think we can keep that up all month!

Thanks everyone in advance x

Ah bless you. You don't need to go at it every day. Every 2-3 days leading to ovulation and on the days you get the positives, plus a day or two after will have you well covered!

Fx for you xx

Thanks GG just trying to take advantage while hubby is on a mission lol. It's usually me chasing him round the house so makes a nice change! But it's definitely different when you DTD for a reason other than just fun....although trying my best not to focus on that and just enjoy as promised myself I wouldn't get too obsessed and would just go with the flow.

As I got a faint line yesterday will test again today and for couple days until get a positive just to try and pin point where I'm ovulating. My cycles are pretty steady at 28/29 days so hopefully once I get it nailed we ll know each month which days are golden!

Thanks x

Well, I fell pregnant 5w4d ago. I had a little spotting last weekend but nothing enough to go on a pad so thought not much of it when tests were still positive and I was still getting symptoms. Had ewcm last few days though so on a whim, bought an ovulation kit as pregnancy test lines weren't getting any stronger. Did an opk yesterday evening and it came back positive for ovulation which you'll only get 2 days out of every cycle on these. OPK's can be used as pregnancy tests, but honestly, my hpt came back negative this morning so I'm convinced I would have lost the pregnancy at 4w2d.

It can be mind alteringly obsessive so if you're able to relax about it all, perfect. Sadly, I'm 38 so every egg lost is a big blow.

Wishing you the very best of luck xxx

How heartbreaking for you GG. I never appreciated how tough this all is and I'm only early days. For so long I've put career, life, everything else first waiting for the right time to start trying but it really does make you wonder are we going about things backwards in the modern world. Maybe we had it right back in the day when family came much earlier on. Nonetheless we must mission on and fx we can make our dreams come true! Lots of luck and baby dust sending your way x

Thank you and yes...we've wanted to try for the past 9 years but have been sensible as lots of other things kept getting in the way. Wishing we'd thrown caution to the wind. I'm not 100% convinced I've lost this pregnancy but I'm pretty sure. Easier than the loss I had at 14 weeks so looking at the positives...main being already covered this ovulation and will cover it again tonight, you know, just to be sure😉

Wishing you the very best of luck xx
