New Tip to bring on labour

my MIL said she has used it three time and it has worked..... (i cant try till wkend cos I am not picking up the carseat and buggy till sat!! haha)

She said she had a hot bath (not too hot!!!)
"Downed" a glass of sherry
and had an early night with "cuddles"

next morning her waters broke!! (THREE TIMES)

can someone try it please to see if it works!! haha

I thought it was caster oil that was supposed to bring on labour?

Is cod liver oil just the same?

I thought taking castor oil was considered dangerous for some reason. Also heard fresh pineapple is meant to do it too

Yea i was told fresh pineapple.
So i have got my plan in place just incase.
Walk down to the chinese..order the hottest thing..walk home..eat it..walk up and down the stairs a few times..eat fresh pineapple..walk up and down a few more times..and if all else fails..have sex 8) 8)

Yea i know they dont recommend caster oil now, i think its quite hard to get hold of it now!

A friend of mine took it and last year it just gave her the runs, she still went over due! I wouldn't try it as i have heard so many stories about it!

I was just wondering if cod liver oil was the same thing or did the same thing!

Think its a case of paying for the good stuff. I use to get ratted on the £2.99 cooking sherry in college, sort of put me off a bit waking up in a pool of it

Rasberry leaf tea is suppose to help strengthen the uterus and speed up labour and delivery and should not be taken until 35 weeks. I haven't heard of it actually helping to start labour however.
