Today on neo natal the lady mentioned that all there bibs have gone missing, they had loads and now have none, so im thinking about giving them some as a thank you and spreading the word to other mums at baby and toddler. Do they accept donations? The vest they put her on was cute and looked like a shop one (not a standard nhs one or something) so maybe they do. Will ask tomorrow if they do but wanted to know what you guys think? x

On a local FB selling group, a woman was asking for baby clothes to donate to the baby unit, so some hospitals take donations. It's worth asking!

I still cant belive people have taken them! x

I would think theyd accept donations :) x

tapatalking x

Redbear, its funny U posted about this because the neo natal unit my jack is on also have problems with bibs 'going missing'! . The nurse said that ppl take them home. I mean how shallow do U have to be yo take clothes from a unit that need every thing they can get their hands on. I know that the unit at Winchester hospital where my lil man is readily accept donations. I've already started buying stuff to donate. As have my friends and family. I hopefully will be able to give them a big sack of stuff soon. Xxx

Aww i think they would be very gratefulfor donations hin. I can imagine they would accept :)

How bloody pathetic tho for ppl to take them?! Ok maybe one by mistake but for them all to go missing!!

Anyway redbear and brandnew how r ur lil babas doing??? Xxxx

Oh and she is home as from this afternoon! So happy but still want to help neo natal because it could have easily have been worse and we could have ended up there a long time. x

I donated my spate babygrow to the postnatal/scbu at our hospital. We had a blue and a pink one on standby to put LO in and gave the other away.
Glad your LO is home safe xx

You could always suggest it, maybe no-one's thought about it until now?

My neonatal unit took donations - but as for things going missing - like cardis and hats once they were on a baby they couldn't be returned?

In fact it was so strict that Aarons cupboard was restocked with nappies, and they put the wrong size in there, and I tried to give them back and wasn't able to because they had been in his cupboard

They took the hats and cardis back i suppose to wash and reuse in mine, they just said bibs where the most common thing to go walkabouts. Its a joke they said they even have to lock up the bounty packs because people steal them so much! x

Well when I went into labour with DS1 I hadn't packed a bag yet so had nothing! So when he was in neonatal I was so grateful they had some clothes to put him in! But they insisted I keep them as a souvenier as they were his first outfit! But they were very much in need of clothes all the time for such an occasion so think it's a great idea!
