Negative pregnancy test but pregnancy symptoms?

Hi- I got a EARLY 'period', 8days after ovulation (through which we had sex using withdrawal method after he had just came previously), it was shorter and lighter.. then two days after it ended I have spotted. I did a pregnancy test today and it came out as NEGATIVE, it was 2weeks today that we had sex... However I am having bad back, breast and cramp area pains, and I am drowsy - why am I getting these symptoms after a weird period had come already and a negative test? Don't know what to think now? x

Give it a few days and test again hun. If still neg, then I,d see your gp.
