Need an in unit/in house washer with newborn?

Husband and I are looking to move in the next few months and we've found a unit we really like EXCEPT for it doesn't have an in unit washer/dryer. Would this be a deal breaker for a newborn and all the dirty laundry that follows? I'm due in early November, and I just don't know if it's crazy to move into a situation where we have shared and paid laundry with five other units on our floor. We've looked at portable washers, but they're much smaller than your average washer and obviously more complicated because you need to connect a hose to your sink for every use. All opinions welcome! I don't want to inadvertently raise our stress levels later this year with a first baby just because of this issue. Thank you!
