Need a doppler at 18 weeks?

Just thinking I'm starting to feel baby move around a little bit now so maybe I won't need the reassurance... But after a bit of blood yesterday I decided I really wanted one. Can't find anywhere that sells them where I could go pick up tonight though (impatient much?! haha) But is it a waste of money this far into the pregnancy..?

Boots and Argos sell them but the online reviews are atrocious. Amazon give next day delivery for an extra charge (I got the angel sounds from amazon)
I think if you have had the life half scared out of you then you do anything you can to put your mind at rest. If getting a doppler will give you extra peace of mind then do it but remember they don't always pick up on the heartbeat xxxxxxxxxxx

I bought the summer one from toys r us also sell them at argos it was rubbish I returned it and decided not to get another one as I got too stressed when I couldn't find the heartbeat and talking to my midwife she said it's not always a good idea. There are quite a few on ebay or you could try gumtree which is local that way you may get one quick by picking it up......other than that Amazon is your best bet.

I borrowed my sister in laws but because the baby kept hiding behind the bladder it did pick anything up which freaked me out and scared the life out of me so I sent it back to her. Thought I would leave it to the midwife she seems to be a pro at finding the littleone when it goes under ground

If you do buy one I would deffo NOT recommend the Summer one from Argos or Boots! They are an absolute waste of money!

the summer ones are only recommended to work from something stupid like 26 weeks. angelsounds are fab but yeah you cant always pick up a heartbeat if bubs wont cooperate

There is two differant types of Summer ones.. a 21 weeks one and a 26 weeks one.. 21 weeks one was the one I got and it was poop x
