Hi girls,

My sister wants to buy us the following "nest" as her pressie to the baby: http://www.amby.co.uk/html/nest.html

It can be used from 0 to 12 months.

Has anyone used one before? If so, how did you find them? If not, what do you think of them?

Thanks!!

This might be a question for the Mum's in "Ask A Mum"

I've not used one before and haven't seen them around much, but I think they're gorgeous and so pretty! xx

Hi. I've got one. We used it quite a bit at the beginning but as LO got older we moved her into a cot because she wanted to sleep on her side in the night. But for naps in the day we used until she was about 4 months. It does say you can use it up to 1 year but tbh I don't know how. It's quite hard to get them in and out as they get bigger.

We also had the bouncer with it that you use with the frame and we are still using that now. Good if your door frames won't take a normal door bouncer.

After 8 months though I don't think we will have use for it.

I've never used one so cannot comment from experience. So this is just a comment, it does look a bit fiddly to me, but I'm a big clumsy oaf  It does look like something that will either be loved or hated by baby, from looking at it I know Isaac wouldn't have liked it, which is a gamble too as its such a generous gift
I'd much prefer a glider or swing crib, but that's just my personal opinion :)
How lovely of your sister to offer to buy baby something so sweet, bless her

we were going to get one of these and i posted a question about them in "ask a Mum" also. we have dicided against one (even though my grandma was going to be buying it) as mentioned they baby can stay in untill they are 12months, however once the baby is able to sit up they cannot use it anymore we felt it was A LOT of money + all the extras for something that they might only be in for 4-6months.
