Natural Killer Cell treatment

My test for NK cells came back higher than it should be and the consultant has suggested treatment. Its good to know we have a possible reason for implantation failure but I've read that NK cells in the bloodstream don't relate to those in the uterus.

Has anyone had treatment for NK cells and become pregnant?

Hi Blueflower,

It was 2 & half years ago, but I remember a lady on here who had 2 late miscarriages at about 16 weeks and after that her blood tests showed too many NK cells in her body.

She then got some treatment and AFAIK went on to have a successful pregnancy.

Also, my husband's uni-friend's wife also had some kind of disorder where her body was rejecting the IVF embryos quite quickly, and after that she took some medication and went onto have an IVF baby on the 5th cycle.

Oh thank you for that, it makes me feel quite positive! I feel that there must be a reason for our failures and its good to finally have something we can do about it.
Apparently NK cells are good at fighting cancer so my body is just working too well for its own good!
