hi, just wondering, those of you with 9month olds, or anyone else, how many naps did your LO have at 9months old, and at what time of the day?

also, how long for??

thanks

Hannah has always been a terrible napper till quite recently, sinse she was born basicly she only slept once or twice a day for 15 minutes max! - I thought she'd be like for forever, but in the last month, 6 weeks she now has a nap at about 1:30pm till 3pm every day (im so grateful for the brake now)
(she gets up about 8am and goes to bed 7pm)

Isaac usually has 4hrs a day, 2hrs in a morning and 2 in the afternoon :)

Jake will have about 20 minutes mid morning then an hour at about 2pm. We've banned naps after 3pm because we are trying to get him to sleep by 8pm. For some reason his body clock went mad last week and he was up at 5 am and wouldnt go to sleep until 12 midnight :wall:

Aye, we've banned naps after 3pm now too - works a treat, shes always shattered come 7pm.

nathan still loves his sleep in the day, he can have anywhere between 2-3 naps in the day ranging from 15 mins to 2 hours

At 9 months Ryan was having a few hours nap at about 10am and a few hours at 4pm :)

millie had 2 naps, one little one in the morning (30mins or so) and the main one mid-afternoon (an hour or two) until very recently, probably around 9 months! sometimes she has 2 but sometimes now she just has a longer one in the morning and no afternoon one.

For those who say they have banned naps after 3pm can you give me some help with how you stick to this? I try not to let George sleep after 4 but if we are in the car, or he's in the pram, or just playing sometimes he drops off. What would you do then? Wake him up or just let him nap?

Thanks

it really does vary then from baby to baby. there was me thinking riley was a lazy boy lol.

he has bout an hour in the morning, and bout 2hours in the afternoon.

hes always really crankey in the evening, teething? or not enough sleep?
