naps during the day

im just wondering if you schedule your LOs naps during the day! i never did but yesterday he slept loads because we were quite busy and out in the car! he went down quite well at ten but was up from 2.20am eventually gave up trying to sleep and got up!!!
its soo frustratring because he started sleeping better lately!! what do you do with naps during the day!

We always schedule a nap for when we're at home. Lunch between 12:30 and 1:30 and she will go down straight after. If we're out during her naptime I will put her down for a sleep when we get home, just so she doesn't get grumpy later hehe.

Maia usually naps in her cot with the curtains closed and the radio on if we are at home.

She can go about 2 hours after getting up on a morning before needing a nap then again at lunch but on an afternoon she has started to go longer and sometimes not needing a nap at all until she goes to bed at 7pm.

The length of the nap varies between 40 mins and 2 hours.

If we are out and about she will nap in the car depending on the length of the journey,

Sam usually wakes up around 7.30am. He has a short nap about 9.30/10.30am for 20 or 30 mins, and then has a 2 hour nap from about 12.30pm - 2.30pm. If he's grouchy late afternoon he might have a 10 min power nap around 5pm
