Just so I know if Oran is about right and what I need to aim for what kind of naps were / are you LO's having at the following times

10 Months
12 Months
15 Months
18 Months
21 Months
24 Months

This past 4 days Oran has been waking in the night again, daddy (who is always right  not) is preeching it is because I let him sleep to long in the day. He has 2 naps one about 10am and one about 2-3pm each one usually ranging from 45 mins to 1hr 30 min but if say in the morning he only has half hour in the afternoon he might have 2 hours - but generally its between 2 & 3 hours sleep a day, but I must admit I never wake him if he is asleep longer, because its very rare I figure he must just be doing a catch up and dont like to.

I think he is waking for a few reasons a) because Im on nights and he loves his mummy so much he can sense Im not there  b) needs more food in the day (I susspect because im in bed and only get to do tea, OH is not feeding him enough / the right foods / giving him enough if any snaxks) c) is startiing his teething again - its been a good few weeks since some pegs popped through, bottom gums are white again so its about time lol - Of course though OH knows best and ''im not there so I cant preach'' apparently lol.

Hiya jennywren, your lo sleep patern sounds like my lo and shes 16 months old goes to sleep anywhere from 6.30pm-7.00pm.,wakes at 5.30am-6.30am-

put her down for nap 9.00am 10.00am

afternoon nap anywhere from 1.00pm-3.00pm

sometimes she dosen't have a nap in the mornings only afternoon and that can last for 1-2 hours guess shes getting older and soon she won't sleep all day like her big sister did at that aged.

I think its right what your doing every child is different :) .

From 12-16 months Stanley would sleep 2 hours in the day, either a lunchtime 12-2pm nap or 2 x smaller ones around the times of your LO. I very rarely wake him, only if he goes 3 hours+ at one time.

More recently he's dropped to one 45 min nap in the middle of the day, boo hiss!

He's also going through a phase of not sleeping through  I put this down to teething/not eating enough, expending enough energy. I doubt Oran's naps are affecting his night time. :)

From 10+ both Aimee and nathan have only had 1 nap, for 1 hour usually 10.30 - 11.30am and occasionally a bit longer. Aimees still doing the same now and shes 26 months but some days she goes without any nap now.

At ten months, Tom was sleeping for half an hour in the morning (9 - 9.30am) and then 2 hours from 12.30 - 2.30pm. He usually sleeps 11 hours at night.
I was always lead to believe that 'sleep breeds sleep' and some good day time napping helps them sleep better at night.

suprise suprise dylan isn't good at sleeping in the day either

he has 30 mins morning and afternoon.

guess what i never wake him do you think he is sleeping too much
:rotfl:

luke is 12 months now and if i am home then will put him down about 10.30 and he will sleep for up to 2 hours. then have another nap about 3.30 for an hour.

he mostly sleeps through the night now from 7pm - 7.30am hes like his mummy needs his sleep!!

it depends when bray goes down if its earlier for example 12 he has 2 hours but if he goes down at 2 or later 1 hour

Hayden sleeps 1-2 hours during the day and all through the night from 7pm till 6/7am
