just bought 2 boxes of nappies (tesco- 2 for £20) i bought one box newborn and the other the next size up, does anyone think its too early? also my mum knitted a cute lil bonnet for him not too sure about a bonnet for a boy but at least she made the effort and now shes knitting some booties x

I have soooooo many nappies already and didn't pay full price for any. Make sure you register with tesco, sainsburys and asda baby clubs to get nappies at a discounted price or with mum to be packs. Keep an eye out for it all, there was an offer in sainsubrys on baby wipes for buy one get TWO free!! The nursery is coming down with wipes!!! lol x Oh and boots parenting club, bounty and pampers online too x

ah wow thank god im not the only one lol i registered with tesco baby club (i work there part time hehe) just bought a whole load of wipes too they've also got a 2 for £10 box of wipes so gonna get those. i love all this baby shopping. and thanx hun, ill do that now and didnt see that offer in sainsburys, live opposite one saw one for a pack of four for £2.50 a few weeks ago, gutted now x

glad im nt the only one. ive got it in my head if i get too many things things something bads going to happen, so havent bought too too much. and whats a matinee? also what do you use muslin cloths for? my mum doesnt even know she said she never used any for me and my sis x

Muslin cloths are for Usingwhen burping I case baby pukes and clearing up in general apparently

Never to early - well done

I brought 13 packs of nappies before birth, 11 in newborn and 2 in the slightly bigger newborn - and just the last pack was annoying to try to use up those last few tighter nappies!!

I also brought a shed load of wipes, I didn't use them for a few months , just cotton wool and water , but I am down to just 3 packs left of my stash now, and he is nearly 8 months!!!

I don't think it's ever too early to start buying stuff like nappies cos they're so expensive so it doesn't seem like you're spending loads when LO comes. I'm going to start buying some soon. x

On the subject of nappies, anyone gonna use one of them nappy systems? I've read bits and pieces but as ever I find it confusing.

Ive bern buying stuff since 12 wks. Each time i go into boots or the supermarket i chuck something like cotton wool balls or shampoo into the basket

its not to early i have a cupboard in out unility room that has boxws and boxes of nappies, baby bath/lotion baby wipes, cotton wool even baby milk, weve been buying when their on offer x

also im due in november and last year it snowed so just incase i get snowed in again this year im sorted lol xxx

it does make it easier on the pocket too x x

I'm the same as you Suzzi, we had snow in January this year and it was fairly bad, so I have been stocking up! Not taking any risks! I cant wait for the Asda baby event to start on Tuesday x x

im buying stuff after my scan on tuesday, morrisons are selling baby stuff atm, changing mats, breast pumps, baby gates etc so dont forget to look in there

Not early at all, good to stock up but dont get too many in one size, babies grow well quick!

Get wet wipes as well cos they run out quick.

Wish i could stock up but i already have a baby to buy all that for bless him so no chance of stocking up this time!
