My sons new way of asking for his dummy

Is to lick things! He only has his dummy at nap and bed times but when he's tired he'll lick the nearest thing (usually his clothes or me) until he gets his dummy! It's the strangest thing! Any of yours do something strange like this?

thats soooo cute, marley licks his hands or tries to put his fist in his mouth!!!! when he gets really tired he covers his eyes up and makes whimpering noises, i love it! its so adorable!

Aiden licks everything in sight, I swear he's part dog cos he's always got his Tongue out. When he wants his dummy he opens his mouth and moves his head around then when I get near him with his dummy he'll grab my hand so he gets it in quicker lol

Lilly doesn't quite have the motor control to rub her eyes, she just ends up punching herself in the face but you can tell what she is trying to do, lol. She will chew and slobber of anything in sightm especially if she doesnt have to hold it as she's not to good at that yet either, heh. When my OH has her in the sling she just gums the nearest bit that she can get her mouth around.
