I have my nursery rhyme book which is well and truly falling apart as I loved it so much as a vaby. Mum had to read it to me the entire way through before I would go to sleep every day and it is an inch thick! Going to get it re-bound x

My nana is going to find my shawl from when I was a bubba and my mum has a pink and grey pram blanket of mine which bubs will also use, also a cot toy that's a pink duck with a pull cord that plays brahms lullaby x

I have a few childhood teddy's that are of sentimental value, 1 of which still has pride of place on my bed (much to hubby's dismay) but the others will be for baby.
I had a nursery rhyme book that my nephews destroyed :( would love to still have it.
And my mum still has the christening robe that was used for us and as none of my nephews were christened in it, I think she'd like at least ONE of her grandchildren to be christened in it x

My mom gave me a cot and bumper set that was my brothers but it was the last thing my nan bought before she died so it's very sentemental and I love it! :)

Awww I wish my mum had something to give me, she didn't even keep any baby pics of me  So I'm not holding my breath!

my Mum gave me my silver baby bangle! i had no idea she still had it, I thought we lost them years ago. I had a little white baby bible too, but that has been lost.

i also have my first teddies, as does Hubby but I think I would prefer it if hubby went out and bought babie a brand new first teddy, from its Daddy. x

My mum I givng me the cot I was in when I was a baby :-)

XX

i also have the moses basket in which my hubby slept in as a baby, still in excellent condition to say it's 23years old! :)

My nan gave me my dad's rattle, it's got a blue teething ring attached to a silver rabbit which has a bell in it. I was very touched and so was my dad as he had no idea she'd kept any of his baby bits, it's 55 years old so very special :) xxx

My lo had the Moses basket that was mine as a baby and this lo will also use it!shes also making cardigans for this baby as she wasn't well when I had my first but my nan knitted one for him! I also have 2 neutral crocheted blankets made by friends that mean alot!
I'm hoping to be able to keep some bits to pass on as i think it's lovely!!!

My mum still has my christening gown and it's beautiful. She would love to give it to me, but I know I would never use it, my children won't be christened. Its so sad, she has kept it for all these years and we know it will never be used.

i got all the crocheted blankets that my great aunties, nan and mum made for me and brothers as babies and the last squares my nan crocheted before she died which i made into a blanket for Alyssa

My parents kept a few of my little dresses and a pair of dungarees.... but the most special piece is my Christening gown which we will be using.

They have also given me some gold bracelets which were orginally my great grtandmothers from when she was a baby xx

I've got mine and my brothers christening gown

My mum is going to dig out my pram cover I had... It's pink with white ducks embroidered. Obv won't use it if it's a boy, but it's a really nice thing to have :) I am going to invest in a really nice blanket that my wee one can keep and hopefully pass down!
