:yay: :yay: :yay:

MY MILK IS IN!

I am so happy! Matthew will now be getting full feeds  and as a consequence will be a happier little bundle! :)

Pointless sorry, just had to let that out!

Im so pleased about it! I really hope that this time I can feed for longer than 4 months - also means that now I can take Mr Matthew out of the house for visits! :) x

Thanks Mrs H - no its not pointless is it? its very significant xx

:yay: Fantastic news!! :-) And I cant believe the little guy was born 4 days ago...! Seems like yesterday! Hope you're both enjoying getting to know each other!

How's Rosie with him? Xx

Hiya Tasha - hope you are ok! I have to have a little cry every half an hour when I realise he is finally here and so beautiful! He is just gorgeous. Rosie is taking her time and we are helping her, she kisses Matt on the head and is slowly coming around to the fact that there is another little one in the house xxx

Aww - Rosie sounds like she is coping very well! It'll be the same for me with Jacob x

I'm fine thank you! Just getting impatient now! Hehe!
Awww bless her, I bet it's a lot for her to take in! She'll be playing the protective big sister before you know it, :D Xx

:yay:.. Glad things are going well hun, and Rosie will be used to the new LO in no time xxx

but.. how do they eat before milk has arrived? I feel so stupid..

well sounds like great news anyway!! :D

they have alot of stored fat which helps, plus they get colostum which is a rich milky substance which comes in before the milk, its really good for them and they really dont need a lot :)

Isobel84 so glad you asked that question cos that was what I was thinking. I am hoping to breastfeed this time round as I tried with DS but only managed a small amount of colostrum for the first 3 days and he became a leech constantly on the breast so had to give in and bottle feed him...my milk NEVER came in but not sure if it was the result of the emergency section shocking my system

it can be tough breastfeeding after sections :(

We had a rough first three days too, infact i think most people do find the first three days pretty tough... a ESection would just be added pressures and horridness too :(

I must say, breastfeeding is one of the hardest things i have ever done, i thought it would be easy and natural and honestly couldnt understand why some people moved straight onto formula but having lived through the last 5 weeks... well... its very, very tough!
