...had a baby girl early hours of yesterday morning. She was dreading the labour, but has since reassured me.
She said it was nothing like she expected and would do it again. I now refuse to let myself become worried or worked up about something which us girlies bodies are made for.

My motto shall now be:

'I was made for gas and air!'

Do I sound convinced? Ummm kind of... :shock: :lol:

Congrats to your mate! It's good to hear positive stories isn't it :)
I've yet to meet someone who wouldn't go through it all again for their LO so my thinking is
'it'll be worth it in the end'

i was scared before but now im impatient, im not scared of the pain at all (still scared of the hospital possibility tho :? thats the only dread i have)
 
Yeh my fear is not being able to have a homebirth!
I don't care how much it hurts as long as i'm at home!
 
We'll be fine girls, we must try to think positive :wink:
 
I'm not too bothered at this point. There's always the drugs to fall back on if it gets too much 8)
