Has been so quiet these past two days
Normally I shower instead of bath but I had a bath on thursday night which was maybe a little too hot, it didnt burn me but did make my skin go a little pink with the heat but I was in a bit of a hurry, and since then, he's been really quiet! I feel like its because of the bath


Am I just being paranoid?

I'm still having hot baths just not staying in them longer than 10mins! My little man goes quite every few days then gets active again like today!! If your concerned though maybe give your m/w a call for reassurance!! x x

Yeah, mine has quiet days as well. I'm still having hot baths too, a bath isn't a bath without it being hot! Lol As long as it's not scorching and we're not in there too long.

Try having a lie down after a cold glass of water to see if it helps. It might be that he's just facing your back so your not feeling his kicks as much?

I have noticed he is quiter this week more, not toos sure if I have done anything different other than being a bit more active.

I always found sweets helped get baby going if I wanted to check, try not to worry , they have to rest sometimes and maybee they get tired when there growing too

Mines been a lot quieter too, I have been suffering with a cold so maybe baby is being considerate and letting me recover before kicking me all day again!

I think providing you can feel some movement, rather than no movement at this stage then you don't need to worry

Mine is quieter too..I just feel him kicking at nite after dinner but during the day he stays quiet... I am sure hot bath has nothing related to it so don't worry..I am also having hot baths as they are bringing a lot of relief to the pains I am having now all across..

I still have hot baths and the ocational sauna (as I did when I was expecting my son), so I wouldn't worry about that. When I was pregnant with my son he always had a few very active days followed by a few quiet days all the way through the pregnancy and to start of with I was so worried everytime but soon got used to his pattern.

Gosh i know completely what you mean, it's so difficult to know what is normal and what isn't

i totally agree, my baby was facing my back so wasnt feeling it so much for a while but had backache due to it, then they turned round i agree with the glass of cold water baby reacts to it.

also when your moving around you probably arent even thinking about baby moving or noticing it only when u think about it u panic i know i do it everyday u probably find baby juggling away while u walking. xxxxx

I've had backache for a few days now...this probably explains it!!

Silly me for not realising!

I am a natural born worrier though! lol

I hope baths aren't too bad, cos we don't have a shower!! I'm a bit of a wuss though, so they're never that hot.

Can't wait to start feeling lil'un, although I think I may have felt him in the bath the other day, lol!

Ooh are you not suposed to have hot baths? I didn't know that!! Oops! What's the reason for that? Glad your bub is moving around again hun!! Mine had a few really quiet days, then I discovered that apple tango wakes him/her up in seconds!! It's mad!! xxx

I'd read somewhere that you're not meant to have hot baths or go in saunas etc because it changes the temperature of bump too quickly.

My little one is still being quiet, but he's definitely still moving every now and again and I've got the midwife on monday so Im sure everything will be ok
