My friend doesn't know who the father is? (No cheating involved)

Hello!

Before you judge, my friend is a single woman in her 20's and there has been no cheating involved. My friend has slept with a friend last year in July/August, they had a casual relationship that only lasted for a month. They stopped having sex after they ended their casual relationship. They used contraception, except for one time.

But my friend says that 8 weeks later, she hooked up with another friend and a one night stand. And they did not use contraception.

My friend thinks that the one night stand guy must be the father, since she was not safe and she was starting miss periods after.

But she wonders if there is any chance the friend she had a casual fling with could be the father. There are women who can have their period while pregnant, and condoms are not always 100% effective. Ahould she do a paternity test, just in case? Can a doctor accurately tell her how far along she is as she must be in her second trimester ao she can do the math?

Depending on when her due date is you can roughly work out what month you concieved. Do you know when her due date is?

If she's had her 12 week scan they should have given her a fairly accurate date from the measurements. If there is 8 weeks between the events it should be quite simple to work out.

If it were the first she'd be about 6-7 month pregnant the other person about 4-5 months big difference big gap.. we don't know how far along she is so we can't even guess... but it's not hard to work out once you get given some dates..
