Pointless thread coming up...
So my best friend was due last Tuesday and all along her pregnancy was told she would have him earlier due to getting GD however her sugars were settled so they said she can go all the way. So she got to Tuesday still no sign, got to the Diabetic Dr on Wednesday who she said was useless and although she had very swollen feet, high BP + protein in her urine, really wasn't bothered, she was booked to see her MW on Friday and her same was still there so her MW sent her to Hospital. There they were checking her and said she could go home later that night, they ended up keeping her in and inducing her on the Saturday morning, after 24hours that hadn't done much so she had the gel, after having the gel up for 6 hours they said if she dilated another cm they could break her waters... That was half 4 yesterday, I then got a text at 9 saying she was in labour she got to 3cm, then they put her on a drip to speed things up in which she managed to get to 6cm in about 12hours, they said she needs to get to 10cm by half 10 this morning or she would have to have a caesarean. Everything the poor girl didn't want. Hopefully by today she will have her little man but I just feel for her
