I think I am going out of my mind!

We have been trying for 8 months now with no joy! The thing is that since we started trying my body has gone bonkers and it is now winding me up!!

it started that I got painful breasts before my period (never had that before we started trying!!) then I got some spotting between periods. Gp checked me out and tests all came back ok (did a smear, general exam, Tested for STI's etc) So we agreed to watch and see what happens. I really need go back as it is now getting worse..Spotting and painful breasts throughout the month. I ahve never taken the pill so know its not changes from that.. agghhhhhh!!

I am going to make an appoitment this week but just thought I'd share see if anyone else had similar stories? :shakehead:

I have noticed more OV/period symptoms since i started ttc but nothing as drastic as mid cycle bleeding.

Did you doctors do your FSH and progesterone bloods?

Mid cycle bleeding is typically associated with endometriosis, but could be PCOS related too.

To confirm endometriosis you'd need to have a an abdominal ultrasound, but that needs to be discussed by your GP

Thank you for replying! I am not having any other symtoms of PCOS or endometirtis, but guess you never know. My periods have always been regular, not heavy but not light either!

Dr didnt do any other tests but I am starting to wonder if my hormones are all over the place.

I also did wonder if it was just stress... but the more I try not to stress about TTC or my symptoms the more I stress about it!!!

anyway guess I need to visit her to see!

Thanks again xx

Since we started trying my body has also been all over the place: sore breasts, suddenly I get my period without any signals upfront (cramps) etc.

I've just stopped listening to my body! I assume we can't get pregnant ob our own and that we need help and we got the ball rolling, so I've kind of acepted that!

If you don't get your bfp soon, see your gp and tell him you want to see a fertility specialist!

Lots of luck to you hun! Hang in there!

xx
