Sorry it's taken so long to post my birth story
Since 20 week scan, I was being told that baby was on the big side. That it may affect my chances if vbac. I'd had two vaginal deliveries an emergency section with dd3.
I have never experienced going into labour naturally as gave had to be induced each time, something there not too keen on doing if you've had a previous section.
Griwth scans showed baby to be in 90th percentile and was back to back. I was hoping for a vbac but the thought of being induced and having done all the hard work to end in a section again scared me.
After wonderful stories if planned sections, I booked one. They booked me in for 39 weeks. All if my other babies were induced at 42 weeks. Time had a lot up do with my decision too. I am self employed florist and have yo work at the Xmas peak at work. So really needed that full 6 weeks recovery time. If I had gone to 42 weeks and ended in section is just be having baby around now.
Anyway Date for section was 13-11-13, so in we went, all very calm radio playing and actually a lovely experience. I would have rather have had a vaginal birth again, but at the end of the day you don't get a medal for doing it the hard way, and it really doesn't matter how baby gets here just so long as they get here safely .
Blair john mcphail lindsay was born on the 13-11-13 at 14:44 weighing 9lb 2 oz. great weight for one week early thank goodness I never went over by two weeks he'd be huge.
He is perfect and us adored by his 3 big sisters

We now have a baby born 13-11, 14-11 and 15-11 lol xxx
