Hubby & I discussing baby no 3. Currently have a 3yr old & 1yr old. Always wanted more than 1 and lucky enough to fall very quickly with both & no complications etc. Just wondering on advice for having 3 under age 4? Any pracricalities etc that you didn't realise until 3rd arrived? Thanks in advance.

the fact that our local supermarket (lidl) does not have trollies with both a baby and toddler seat so i will have to go miles to Asda if i get confident enough to do a shop by myself!!

Our car is absolutely full with 3 children in the back, buggies in the boot no room left to go somewhere with granny/ give someone a lift etc

Dealing with a toddler when baby is cluster feeding!!

(i have a 10 year old, an 18 month old and just had my baby 2 weeks ago)

Thanks. The car issue worries me as couldnt fit 3 seats in the back. I regularly shop with both of mine but don't think it eould b easy with 3 as my eldest likes to run off, think I would go back to click & collect or hubby take one or two to shop!

we have to fly to visit my parents and have realised that they wont be able to pick us up from the airport in their car!

I have a 3.5yr old, an almost 2yr old, and am 18wks with number 3.

I keep having random panics about the practicalities of having 3 under 4.
Shopping being one of them - I think that will turn into OH’s job again!
We just brought a new car before finding out I was pregnant - unless my bum suddenly shrinks enough to fit in between two car seats in the back, we’ll be needing a new car again soon.
How do I bath three kids?! Our bathroom is tiny and it’s just about do-able with the two kids, the logistics of bathing three stresses me out!
Bedtimes with three kids - just, how?! aaaaargh!!!!! OH often works nights so it’s pretty much down to me.

Lots of little things keep worrying me, but I’m sure that when baby is here, everything will slot into place and we’ll figure out new ways of doing things.

I say go for it!! Good luck :) xxx

we've started doing baths in the morning, trying to fit it in the evening with cluster feeding etc was not happening!

We just had baby no 3, so we now have a 4 year old, 22 month old and a 2 week old. It's defintely harder work than I thought it would be. Mornings r very hard work. We bath the older children of a morning now. Oh then leaves for work. It's then a mission to have all 3 fed, dressed, and then walk my oldest upto school nursery on time. My 22 month use to love walking to the nursery, but now he has to go into the pushchair as walking with all 3 is difficult. I'm forever feeling guilty now on the older 2, as baby now takes up alot more time as he is now awake more. I miss being able to do all my little outings with my older 2 that I can only do now if someone else is with me to help watch the baby. It's still all new to me though, and i wouldnt change it xx

i also feel like i'm missing out on my 18 month old as OH has taken over as much care of him as possible and keeping him active while i'm caring for the new baby. he's at such a funny cute stage and i'm just stuck nursing and burping!!!

It's so hard GBLiz, my 22 month old always wants me to play, and when baby is crying or needs my attention he just doesn't understand. I know on my heart that I give and try and do everything possible to make my older childrent happy, it still doesn't stop me feeling like a awful mum xx
