Hi ladies,
Sorry for tmi but me and hubby where doing the deed and my mucus plug fell out like a lot of it, is this okay and normal? Nothing else has happened in just a worrier and wanted down advice xxx

It's fine hun, your plug can come away at this stage, only if your waters started leaking there's no need to worry xx

I had a very small amount come out when I was about 29weeks - looked like a blob of green snot about the size of a kidney bean. midwife said not to worry unless I continued to lose more or have other symptoms as it can regenerate itself.
How much was 'a lot?' Was it tinged with blood at all? Do you have any cramping etc?
If your doing ok otherwise I would just take it easy - lots of stuff online says it doesn't mean that labour is imminent, it can still be weeks before, however if it was your complete mucous plug then you are more susceptible to infection up there so no doing the deed/having a bath etc until you've spoken to a doctor or your midwife
Xxx

It was bigger than a kidney bean I'd say about the size of a grape but no blood or anything it's was greenish/creamy in colour but I've been okay just a bit worried as I didn't realise it could come away at this point. I'm not getting cramps or in any pain/ discomfort it was just unbelievably bizzare xxx

It should be ok hun, it does regenerate as others have said. But I also agree that if you get any more or any other symptoms you should call your midwife xx

My friends fell out at 27 weeks and she's doing fine. Don't worry xx

If anything does change I'll definitely call my midwife and get checked out just to be 100% sure, but baby is moving loads and is quiet happy playing kick mummy as hard as he can haha xxx

Grape siZe is most likely only a very small bit. When I lost mine last time there was loads! I wouldn't worry at all x

Oh good, being my first baby I'm just not sure what is normal in sure by the time I've had a second I'll know what's what I just thought I'd ask for advice and piece of mind, he is v active and I'm enjoying my pregnancy will be a bit sad as it's getting so close to the end now but I'll have a baby! Xxx thank you ladies

So hard with your first and knowing what is normal etc, but for me all my plug went in one go and there was lots more than I expected. I also wondered a few evenings whether I was in labour with cramping etc but when it actually started I knew ~ instinct takes over xx

Thanks Mary, I just worry haha I can't help it it seems really stupid though when I realise it was nothing to worry about xx

Thank you, I just want to be sure everything's okay xx
