This morning one of the cats thats been hanging around our new house brought us a gift. It was a tiny dead mouse . Was upsetting but sweet that the cat had thought of us.
I love mice and hate cats. I know thats sounds awful
Hubby said i cant move the mouse otherwise the cat will think weve taken it in as a gift and then it will bring more. Im alright with them sleeping in our garden but i dont want to wake up to dead things all over the place
The first day when I had brought my baby daughter home from hospital, my cat decided to bring a gift for the baby. He came in through the cat flap with a dead mouse, jumped up on the back of the sofa where I was sitting nursing and dangled it by it's tail over my shoulder!
Never tell a cat off for bringing you gifts. They think they have offended you and that their gift wasn't good enough and will bring you something better... as happened to my sister in law when she scolded her cat for bringing her a mouse... so it brought her next doors decapitated baby rabbit instead
Oh no, my cat has been at my parents house since I had Jade, having him back home next weekend. He had better not hurt any mice or birds otherwise I will kick his butt! He was always trying to get our pet mice, scared of the rats though, lol
My cat loves spiders and daddy long legs, she presents them to me with the legs hanging out of her mouth!!!!!!
She also loves to catch blue bottle flies, then you hear her crunching them!
Good job I have house cats because I daren't think what she would do to our local bird and rodent population!
