I've asked thos before and am driving myself crazy. I can feel baby moving but thought by now I would be at the seeing limbs stage and what not. I've the midwife on weds and im going to talk about my increased anxiety due to lack of appts, ive had 3 with community midwife including my booking in and 2 scans that's prerty much it, I know with low risk and 2 nd babies u have less appts but I just need a bit of reassurance I think. Im on the go all day and although I feel baby sheis still most active at night.

Aww I feel the same as you hun, I worry constantly. I am not getting the sort of movement I expected either, sometimes i look at those youtube videos where baby is all over the place and limbs sticking out etc and I think why haven't I got that?

You defo have not had enough midwife appointments though, I have had 8 weeks, 12 weeks(scan), 16 weeks, 20 week (scan), 24, 28, 32, 34 and my next one is on Wednesday.

If you are ever really concerned with movement, just go to MAU, I went at 28 weeks, everything was fine and it reassured me. There have been a few more times I have considered calling them, but then baby has started wriggling. My baby is more active in evenings also, mornings are always really quiet and worrying. xx

I don't get the whole limbs out or babies going mental like in those videos either! I'm starting to wonder if they're real! I usually get little prods out the side and occasionally something pokes out the top, moves from either one side to the other or from top to bottom then disappears again but that's it. If I'm on the go I don't feel them much at all but if I'm sat on the sofa they're a bit more active. They've taken to coming alive at night when I get into bed then in the morning once hubs goes to work. They're breech though so I do get quite a lot of kicks down low which I can't feel or see on the outside.

I've been busy sorting the house today so just come up to bed and she's moving around im just going to speak to midwife, looked in my folder anschave had all the appts deemed necessary. 8 wks, scan at 12wks, 16wks at comm midwife, 20wk scan and mw, 28wks and have 32wk on weds

I'm on baby number one and that's all the appointments I have had so far kelly. I am seeing her Friday so will be my 32 weeks appt I'm guessing. I'll be 31+5!
I've only seen my midwife once at the booking appt which has been really annoying. Has the health visitor been in touch?

No not heard from health visitor. I was told I get one less appt for a 2nd pregnancy but on my 3rd comm midwife so not really felt at ease this pregnancy

I have had a few messages from the health visitor wanting to arrange a visit before baby arrives. I haven't heard of this. I haven't phoned back and going to ask midwife on Friday.

My health visitor came for my pre natal visit on Friday she just goes through loads of paperwork chats about what will happen when midwife hands over after birth that kind of stuff! This is baby 3 for me and this is my first pre natal visit she said it's a new thing! Well new for me my youngest is 6 so may not be new for others x

I had health visitor over last week, it is a new thing they are doing, you can opt out though. That way they just come after the birth as usual and not before x

Many areas of the UK now have HV visits before baby is born, it's completely standard practice now.

I've got my health visitor coming next Friday. We were meant to meet her at our last antenatal class but it was cancelled.
