I wasn't feeling much with my second at 18 weeks either, such a worry when my first started at 17 weeks. She is making up for it now but I would say give it a week or two for the flutters.
My placenta is also anterior so I put it down to that x
I'm just over 18 weeks too, and I think I've felt some pokess or jabs, but only once last week. And even then I'm not sure.
I have no idea where my placenta is, because no one has ever told me..
Check your notes chick, it might say in there? It could be a couple of things, anterior placenta or that's it's #3 so everything is stretchier and they have more room to hide in
I was never really told either, I just overheard them at my 20 week scan, it's also in my notes under my 20 weeks scan details - maybe have a look and see if it says anything?
My midwife was the one who told me exactly where on the front it was which was why I had only been feeling kicks on one side!
Baby 3 here and have felt flutters since 11 weeks and could feel small kicks from about 17 weeks. But I have normal placenta location. I also have hardly had any gap between pregnancies though so I'm so in tune to feeling movements that I think I notice them before other people might. Every baby is different too and it might just be that they are a lot more active when you are sleeping so you aren't noticing them. My 1st was never that active in the day but at night time she would go nuts to the point it woke me up in tri 3 x
Still only the occasional flutter but can hear hb on my monitor, looking forward to my scan so I'll know where my placenta is. Ds was hugely active at my 12 week scan where as this baby was a lot more chilled out x
19 weeks 4 days here and just felt flutters so far, for the past few weeks. Tends to be when I'm sat down late afternoon/evening. Baby boy has been pretty chilled in our past two scans, so I think he's lazy in the day lol.
I'm 22 weeks with my first and feel him most days now it has been getting more often I think I started noticing movement more around 19weeks but I know my other friend who is due in May didn't feel nothing with her little girl until she was 23 weeks! So I wouldn't worry seems like everyone is different 🤗
Update to those still wondering - I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and I've been feeling very light jabs more frequently now. I'm now sure it's movement/kicks. I first felt one exactly at 18 weeks but wasn't sure as this is my first kiddo, and they've been happening more often in the last week, mostly when sitting/lying down.
I can't wait until they can be felt from the outside and I can share it with the father :O
